2 Grand is more than a musical duo, it's a lifelong family tradition. Made up of grandfather Randy DeGier and grandson Gavin DeGier, the pair have officially performed together as 2 Grand since 2021, though their musical story began decades earlier.

Growing up, Gavin spent countless afternoons at his grandparents' home, where music was always part of daily life. He'd listen to his grandmother Brenda filling the house with piano and song while Randy played guitar in the music room upstairs, a room lined wall to wall with guitars that quickly became Gavin's favorite place to explore. Before long, he was sitting beside his grandfather learning songs, sharing guitars, and discovering a lifelong love of music.
