Rivertown Songwriters Showcase

David Nash is a Driftless area Songwriter and Novelist with an Americana style and narrative lyrics. His songwriting has gained recognition at the Great River Folk Festival songwriting contests. His latest Novel “In Wells’ Time” was a 2025 Minnesota Book award finalist. He performs solo and occasionally is accompanied by fellow bowling league band member Nicky Nieling.

Songwriter and luthier Jeffrey M. Kelly sings from his heart with a narrative that is both incredibly personal yet relatable to many. Much like his migration from the outskirts of Boston in his youth to his current residence in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin, Kelly’s songs reflect the ebbs and flows of time, growth, and the human experience.
